El Menzah

This is a serene island in the middle of the buzzing Tunis.
El Menzah is a district of Tunis, Tunisia. In the middle of a heat wave, walking in a deserted neighborhood, I saw this cluster of trees as an oasis.

The light is very intense and the shade intensely colorful. The tree has an arch shape which gives movement and dynamism to the composition. The abstract expressionism style conveys the intensity of the light and the height of the tension between the colors.
